in the interest of promoting positive feelings and good vibes all around in this admittedly frustrating period of the contest, I'm proposing a little Secret Santa kind of event.
Here's the idea - post a comment in this thread with a link to your game. On Monday evening (I'll probably have plans on monday, so I don't want to give an exact time), I'll randomly assign everybody a game pulled from the list of comments and update this top post with the list of assignments.
Once the list is up, everybody tries out their assigned game, plays it, and leaves a bit of feedback (either on the submission page or right here in the forum).
As is the case with a regular Secret Santa, the goal here isn't to create winners and losers. The goal is twofold. Firstly, this should help people to recieve a little more feedback on the games that they put a ton of work into throughout June. Secondly, it's a great excuse for gamers to stumble onto hidden gems that they might not have looked at if not for this event.
So, who's in?
EDIT: The pairings:
NickMakesGames: Unraveled

Nerd-vs-Game: Save Point

Looking forward to this. -
Ooooh. Sounds fun ! ^^
I actually don't mind the waiting,
I mean..700+ games...that is a lot to go through !
I only played 10 myself before my brain exploded.
I thought to use the waiting time wisely,
and I'm working on improving my game (and a part 2)

I would be glad to get more feedback on my game too since it is the first one I ever worked on (and feel free to be super strict about it!):

Why not? Though my game has changed a lot since then (skills redone, combat rebalanced, etc), the story is still mostly the same. My game, as it was entered: http://contest.rpgmakerweb.com/game/view/id/192#.VAOpxI4o4ie

This is a great idea! I'm in. Would love to help someone out with some feedback and get some for my own game.
My game can be accessed from its forum thread or its contest page.
Thanks for running it. -

Thanks hiddenone. I will admit I ran out of time for the battles to be balanced/done well (as you saw), so been working on that (and chapter 2) since the contest ended.
It will probably be late this week before I can do mine, hope that is ok to the author of Timeblazer!
