Seasonal Tile Sets?

  1. I use RPG Maker MV so I'm looking specifically for MV resources.

I don't want to remake each map using the snowy, non snowy tiles. Basically, I want to make an event that uses the
Change Tileset Event Command. The event will Swap the Regular Outside Tileset 2 with Outside Tileset 2 Snowy.

Then hopefully the tiles will magically change to the snowy version when it is Season 4 and back to the Regular Outside Tileset 2 when it it is season 1.

If this is already available can someone link me? If there is a better way could someone point me in the right direction?
  2. Actually I created a steam guide on how to make a system with day & night cycle, weather mechanics, integrated time mechanics, & potential seasonal change mechanics, all with basic eventing.

This should give you some ideas of what to do.

I actually had been following this guide! LOL. But like you said I'm at the hardest part getting the Summer, Autumn, Winter art. Spring will be what the RTP has, Winter could be doable with the wintery stuff already in the RTP. I saw the http://www.rpgmakerweb.com/a/rpg-maker-mv-tileset/town-of-seasons Town of Seasons DLC. But it doesn't look right to me.
  4. You'll probably have to cobble something together from the resource threads then, or modify existing assets. Because aside from town of seasons, the only other sets that have a good bit of seasonal variety, are the FSM & Ancient Dungeon sets.
  5. The Rural Tiles pack at the store contains multiple seasons for a lot of the tiles, and PandaMaru's has a ton of free tiles in all multiple seasons, too.
