Searching for a story writer for my RPG. You will have to write the story for my RPG.

First off, I think you'll find that red text is for mods only, so you might want to change that.

Second, I'm not convinced that your post is best designed to get what you're looking for (in addition to huge capitals making it look like you're not just shouting but screaming at anyone who reads it).

Before anyone is going to commit themselves to becoming part of a team, they are likely to want to know a bit more than just simply that you are looking for a story writer.  You need to give some details, for example

What is the basic outline of the game?

Are there any screenshots or other proof that this game has had some work already done on it?

What style of story are you looking for?  For instance, some people can write good humorous dialogue, others know they are less good at it.  Some people enjoy writing one sort of game story, and aren't interested in other sorts.

How long is the game planned to be?  It's one thing to write a story for a game lasting 1-2 hours, another to write one for 20+ hours.

How many characters do you have in mind?

Anything else that might affect the story, how it is written and so on.

Plus anything else to show that you have put some thought and work into this.

Perhaps you should begin by telling us what YOU want to do in your game?


If someone else writes it without any restrictions (and you didn't even say what kind of game you want to make), then it's usually that other one's game, not yours. So why should they combine their work with yours?


No one will make a game for you while you sit by idle, so you have to tell others what you are willing to contribute before they will even consider working with you.

Recruitment belongs in the Recruitment forum. Read the pinned threads there. Make sure your topic provides everything requested in those threads.


Don't be so demanding ... I really thought you would have learned a bit of patience by now. Apparently not.
