scripts or how to?

ok so i need a script for my sprite to be sleeping i can send you my sprite if you need my sprite and i also need a script/ animation for when he gets up (sits on bed then stands up) also can someone give me a script so that at the beginning of the game you can type in your own name by default it is Arashi

i kind of want it to be like misao when you get to type in you own name but it says Type In Your Name

in a box thanks!(if this is even possible) i already know some of the most popular rpg games are made with wolf rpg editor which is kind of hard to use but kind of the same thing as rpg maker but harder. 

Everything you said can be done with eventing alone, absolutely no need for scripts.


For the animation, you need to provide the grafics as sprites (sitting, sleeping etc) and then use event commands to change the sprite in a cutrscene.


For the name, simply use the name input processing command on that actor in a starting event.


I suggest that you follow the link in my signature and work through the tutorials listed there, because your questions are very basic and show that you do not yet know what is possible with RM.

If you would like someone to make graphics for you, then you could post in the Project Recruitment forum, or if you are doing a personal project and need sprites and such, you can make a post in the Resource Requests forum.
