I've been looking for a script that adds a "notes" section, like the one the Fallout series. The way it would work is that through a script call or something, I could add a "note" to a part of the menu, probably titled "notes". You could then go to the notes section, and read all of them. This would be for things like side quests (For example, there could be a note saying that Bob wanted 10 rocks.) However, when I try to find one, all I find are scripts that use note tags, which is not what I want. Does anyone know if any scripts like this exist?
Script that adds "notes" section to menu?

I've thought about writing a script like this. Well, one I THINK would be like this - I haven't played the Fallout series, so I could be thinking of something completely different.
If all you're after is a journal/quest script, that will show you what tasks you have, there are a good number of them around.
If you're after something that will let the player enter their own notes, I'm not aware of any existing, and that's what I'm thinking of making. -
I would agree with Shaz that you are looking for a "quest system". It sounds like you just want a space in the menu where playwrs can go and see current quests?m If so, the best one ive found is this one http://rmrk.net/index.php?topic=25533.0 by Modern Algebra. It takes a bit to learn to use but it is worth it because it is really awesome. If however, you are looking for the player to be able to take their own notes instead, you will probably want this http://www.rpgmakervxace.net/topic/10582-xs-journal/ by Nicke.
Hope this helps -
I don't see anything in Nicke's script (description, features or screenshots) that indicate the player can take their own notes. Are you sure it does?
