I'm currently in the middle of making a horror-esque game similar to the likes of Corpse Party, Ib, and what have you. Everything is going pretty well so far, but one thing I need in particular and simply cannot find is a different type of save file screen. I don't have anything really magnificent in mind for it. More or less, all I want is an expansion of the already existing, default save file. The only difference is I would like the party members centered on it, face portraits to be used instead of character sprites, and the lead-character's name and the location name of where the game was saved. Would anyone be willing to give me a hand on this, by any chance? :3

Ah, I tried this script the other night. Not only is it... really ugly, not even showing the full faces, but it does not show the location name either, despite the fact it's supposed to.

Please state for which maker you're searching the script - the forum you posted in and the link suggest that you're looking for an Ace script, but your profile says "primaril uses XP".
If you're looking for an Ace script, it might also help if you tell us which of the several save scripts from the master script list you've already checked and rejected (and for which reason), as that will prevent people from linking you to scripts you've already checked. -
I am using Ace for this, actually. I've looked through several master scripts, including Yanfly's, which was a lot more than I needed. I thought Neo's looked pretty good, but it crashes my game whenever I try to use it.

Thats still not really a good description of the scripts you have used and why you chose not to use them. Are those the only two you have tried?

My apologies, I'll try to be more precise and to the point in what's going on. Okay... First is Yanfly's script. Simply put, it offers way too much detail for my game. There is no money, there's no levels, or farming, or mining, or anything of that sort. And after reading through it, I honestly do not see a way to remove those features from the save file script, unless I'm blind and just missing something. The rest of the save scripts in the master list, for some reason or another, seem to either not work or crash the game when trying to save. I'm not really sure what the problem is, unless it has to do with my menu script I'm using, which I will link a screen of now.

The menu itself is a modification of the basic menu, made by Zeon13. It basically removes features that would not be needed in a horror game, such as Equip, Status, and currency, and changes the save function to Load, so you can only save at designated points.

This is the Neo Save System VI script I mentioned earlier. It can even be easily adjusted to show what I want to use. The problem is when I start up the game with this script in place, I automatically get this error:

follow the link you gave above and download the demo. Then, copy the 'screenshot'.dll into your project folder and put the script into its own place within your in project script editor. The error will cease :)

Oooooh... Okay, that helped in one area, but now I've got an error that says: "Script line 172:TypeError occurred. superclass mismatch for class scene_file."

oh yea lmao, that script is not for vx ace. You will have to find an alternative im afraid.
