Hello, hello! I'm Sami, and when I have time, I fiddle around and try to make music. I'm a rookie and still learning how to go about things, so my work isn't the best yet, but I'm trying to learn through practice. Any advice or critique you can give me will help, though I'm not always the best at applying critique when it comes to music. I get busy with school so sometimes the flow of production might dry up, but I'm trying to get back into practice now that things have slowed down a bit.
Without further ado, here's the best/most recent selections from my soundcloud! (More songs can be found there, of course, but there's some that just... aren't that great.) More commentary on a song aside from my blurbs here can be found at the soundcloud pages themselves.
Current Status:
Looking for my next thing to do.
Most Recent Track:
I've been wanting to make a "watery" song with pizzicato strings for a while, and representing a location that's part high-tech library and part magical well seemed to be the perfect opportunity. Because of the technology, I also put a digital-sounding agogo in it.
Other Tracks:
Someone in a RP group I'm in asked for a happy sort of theme that characters that were part of a certain traveling show could perform to, and so this song was born. She seemed quite happy with it when she got it!
A song inspired by a particularly moving battle in a RP. The three people involved were quite happy to get it.
A softer, reflective sort of piece I did to get back into practice a little bit ago.
An older song I made. I kind of like the military, heavy drums and brass feel. There was a vocal version, but it was terrible so I never uploaded it.
One of my oldest songs (2 years old). It has a nice, serene, warm feel to it. Somehow it's better than a lot of my newer stuff.
My first song (also 2 years old). It was probably an attempt to emulate Golden Sun's music, judging from the use of the choir.

I'm glad you made the pizzicato and harp song you were talking about. I think it's my favorite song of yours so far. The glockenspiel was also a nice touch.
