  1. Hello everybody!

Well, I hope I do this right (and nobody did this already...) ...

Just made some litte edits on the RTP and wanted to share. Free to use both commercial and non-commercial.

You must own RPG Maker MV and credit Kadokawa (of course). :)

I thought the grass looks a little odd when it comes to walls and other stuff. For example:

without Gras.png It ends just before the wall

without Gras2.pngOr it seems to be cut off

But with some little edit it looks like this ....

    with Gras.png

And here comes the file ...

    Grass.png

You can copy this grass tile in one of your tilesets or just use Yanflys awesome Doodads plugin. I hope some of you find it useful. :)
  2. That's a really great addition - thank you for sharing!
  3. I agree, this is one of those great ideas. =]
  4. Ah! So fantastic, and such a small change. Thanks for having this kind of insight! :)
  5. Very great idea! thank-you! :)
  6. they say the devil is in the details.. but this tiny fix is heavenly!! hehe. Great work!!

    :)

  7. Thank you all guys. I'm very glad you can make some use of it.
  8. Very Useful! Thank you for this!
  9. Just two little edits on the RTP character sprites. By the first one the eye color is more intense, the second one has just one eye.

When you want to use them with the generator please don't forget to save the original sprites so they will not get overwriten.

Like above free to use both commercial and non-commercial. But you must own RPG Maker MV and credit Kadokawa. :)

  10. So, I thought the RTP didn't leave enough room for a winter setting so I did this small edit...

Snow white.pngSnow white 2.png ... the quite white version (the first one with an more ice underground)

Snow blue-ish.pngSnow blue-ish 2.png ... and the more "blue-ish" version (again the first one with an icy touch)

You can copy them into your Tile A2 sheet and use them as a snowy overlay for different types of walls and undergrounds.

    It's winter time! :)
  11. You and these small details.. brilliant!! Keep it up!!

    Are you open to suggestions?

  12. @M.I.A. What do you have in mind? Because I must warn you, I couldn't really draw anything for the sake of my life. XD
  13. Nothing in particular from me. At least not yet.. hehe. I just wanted to ask in case anybody else checks in and might have a suggestion. :)

  14. ` Awesome and amazing resources right here. Getting those simple stuff to shine!!! Your generator correction should be the base for rpg maker mv. Shine them Eyes!!!
  15. I find it difficult to make a forest with MV mostly because I don't really like those dark edgy trees from the RTP. But without them it just looks like a meadow with many trees. Thinking of how the RPG Maker XP handle this I made this:

    Wald MV Version.png MV Version

Wald XP Version.pngXP / MV Size Version

It's not perfect but I kinda like it. And when you copy the following tile into one of your B - E tile sheets you can give them a star passability so your characters can wander under the trees.

Baumkronen MV Version.png MV Version             Baumkronen XP Version.png XP Version

Because the XP Version is a RPG Maker XP edit you must also own the RPG Maker XP and give credit to both Enterbrain and Kadokawa. :)

@SkySurfer Thank you very much. I'm glad you can use it. :D

    @M.I.A. I definitely would give it a try. :)
  16. I'm going to combine both of them. Hard green edge, soft green center. Great work!!
  17. @M.I.A. Thanks! Now I'm curious how this might look ... :D
  18. Well @mara_vertin, I tried it, and didn't like it. Lol. I just wish there were a way for me to love the tree/tree top auto tiles.. ?
  19. Yeah, I know what you mean, @M.I.A. :\

When I see other peoples maps I often think, well, it doesn't look too bad. Then I go, try to make a wood myself and ... I don't like it.

That's one of the things I love about the RPG Maker XP. You can use even the auto tiles above the character and they don't have to be all edgy.
