I've been trying to use Mog's ring menu for MV and whenever I put the plugin in and run the game to enter a fight, it gives me this error message saying layout has failed to load.

I've moved this thread to Plugin Support. Thank you.
-
do you have that file, with that exact name, in that location? Could you show a screenshot of your file manager with extensions visible?
-
Well I have the png, but its just sitting there and I don't know how to put it in, I've tried putting it in system and pictures
-
Copy the whole battlehud folder that is right above MOG_BattleHud and paste it into your project's /img folder. Mog's battle hud takes images from this folder.
-
I got it going now but whenever I enter the battle its just the default battle commands and stuff, the other battle huds work but the menu i need is the only one not working
-
Do you also have MOG_battleCommands installed in your plugin library? It should have come in the package that came with the Light setting. That is important if you want to have the ring menu, it must be placed under the MOG_battleHud plugin in the list.
By default you will have to go through a FIGHT/ESCAPE menu before you reach the ring menu.
But if you also have Yanfly's Battle Core plugin installed you'll get around that. -
I did that and this is what the battles look like
Theres still no ring menu for the attack, magic, skills, etc -
Do you have the BattleCommand folder in your project's /Img folder? Its the same folder where battle hud would be located
This is how you are suppose to arrange the plugins in your plugin list
Make sure in the settings of MOG_BattleCommands, the Mode is set to 1
If you have copied everything straight from the original Light ver for the plugin zip, you wouldn't need to change anything actually. -
I have both the battle commands and battle hud in the folder, is it only supposed to be battle commands in it?
-
You need both of them, and you'll need to arrange the plugins in the correct order.
-
So I have both of the files and they are in order but its still like that, im stuck
-
Do you have the Mode option in MOG_Battlecommands, set to 1?
If that still doesn't work, you should copy the contents from the zip you found these plugins in again and replace everything.
Find the folder of your desired layout and copy past the items into the right folders and re add them to your plugin list. -
Thank you sooo much! It works now, I don't know why it worked now but replacing it just fixed it, though, can I ask a quick question not related to this?
-
Your welcomes! Fresh state plugins usually help if your problem comes from fiddling with the built in settings. Which I suspect is the case considering mog's come with many presets.
Anyway, if its about a whole other plugin or function, I suggest that you start a new thread for it.
