Hello,
Does somebody have experience how the Intel Compute Stick (Model from 2016: STK 1AW 32SC) handles RPG Maker MV?
I don't know if the 2GB RAM and the Atom are enough for MV, or Google Chrome, or even watching videos online and offline in 1080p 60fps. And if the system runs at a reasonable speed, not that I have to wait on closing a window in explorer or that RPG Maker MV does start, but takes ages to load everything into the RAM, or load a new map. And how it will handle lighting like Terrax and Soul's plugins.
Kind regards,

Loading thing in the RAM is mostly limited by your drive, and with the little size MV projects are compared to AAA games, it shouldn't be a problem. Your problem will probably be running the game at a constant 60 fps, heck maybe even 30, which wouldn't be ideal since MV is coded to run at 60 fps. Time is dependent on the number of frames (60 frames = 1 second), which is stupid for games since if we get only 30 frames per second, than it will take 2 seconds to count 1 second in game.
If it's loading for more than 15 seconds, it's maybe that a resource is missing. -
Yeah I already knew that, but I don't know if the Atom is even powerful enough to play a (youtube) video at 1080p@60Hz without stuttering or loading because the CPU can't stream it fast enough. I also don't know if 2GB RAM is actually enough if Windows 10 has to share it with MV and maybe 1 or 2 Chrome tabs open (1 for searching and 1 Netflix on the side).Loading thing in the RAM is mostly limited by your drive, and with the little size MV projects are compared to AAA games, it shouldn't be a problem. Honestly you should just change computer (or suggest to the person who owns that computer to change it) lol.

2gig ram on my phone is hard to play on if that helps. Its processor is 1.4

You can use VX Ace instead.
