  1. The taller sprites are super adorable will there be bases available for them? I think they're just too sweet. <3

Edit: I'm having a break now but I'm trying to recreate the base myself <3
Edit Edit: I'm getting there, not sure if I made them too buff

Gonna take another break but I'm having fun.
  2. Awesome.

But why the ForestNight parallax is 819x819 and all the others is 816x816?

Thank you for the information, so I could find many references.
Yes, I also thought the same thing. Tall battler is more interesting than the default chibi version. Hopefully there are other developments, thank you

Actually I got sad that we didn't get chibi alternative at all.

You may want to try redownloading the pack or verifying the files. The folder has both chibi and tall.

[EDIT]: Unless you're talking about Tonbi's pack, in which case, they're just tall versions of the already existing chibi sprites...

oof yeah my bad, confirmed later because the first time I downloaded I just happened to open the tall sprites only :kaoswt:
  6. Hello Is it really free? I mean we can use it for non-commercial and commercial?

The terms of use are in there. So please read them.
  8. I love the new free stuff. Thank you, and keep up the good work.
  9. Love the tiles!
  10. So...
    Quick question:
On the terms of service, it says "KADOKAWA grants permission to use the content for the purpose of creating a game using RPG Maker MV only."
However, I do think that some of the resources could be potentially useful for games in RPG Maker VX Ace. Where should I ask about getting permission to use it for VX Ace?

    You can't. That's the EULA.

    Alright. :(
  13. The japanese EULA is a little more explicit about it

    https://tkool.jp/mv/special/magic-and-sfpack.html

    ■『RPGツクールMV』及び他ツクールシリーズ以外への転用は禁止いたします。

"Using in software other than "RPG Maker MV" and other Maker School series is prohibited."

Here's what the EULA said for the translated version:
KADOKAWA grants permission to use the content for the purpose of creating a game using RPG Maker MV only.

    Which is also explicit?
  15. sorry, for some reason thought he was talking about the magic and sf-one one (which it turns out, doesn't include a terms file inside the zip , so you have to look at the japanese site for info on it)
  16. The English terms of use doesn't really mention anything about commercial games though. It only says you can use it to make and release games? Of course, that might include commercial games... still, a bit more comprehensive terms would have been nice.
  17. thanks so much for this platform
  18. I know this is an old thread, but can't i just copy the img images from the dark fantasy folder into its corresponding folders in my game? Do i really need to overwrite my weapons and js doc?
  19. @Spctorres

The weapons file needs to be overwritten if you plan on using the side-view battlers. The reason for it is that because the battle sprites are taller, the weapons sprites will need to be adjusted to that new height. If you don't have any battles or plan on doing front-view battles, then you don't need to.
  20. To clarify the above, the Dark Fantasy pack also comes with normal-sized (chibi) battlers as well, such as 2_DF_Actor1, etc. You only need the weapon adjustment stuff if you use the taller sv battlers, which are all prefixed with a 3, so 3_Actor1_1 and such.

Personally, I think it's a shame RMMV settled on the chibi style, because the taller style looks really good. Oh well!
