Alright so I don't have a Mac. My friend has a Mac and I asked him to test my game out for me. I develop on a Windows system and then simply clicked Deployment and selected Mac OS X and did All Resources (since he doesn't have RPG Maker MV) and then Encrypted the files and everything was dandy, or so I thought. I sent him over the Zip file and he extracted it and attempted to run the game and he then said to me it was stuck on something called "Verifying Game" and he said it kinda just had his system lockup and stuff. I am running 1.6.1 of MV.
I vaguly remember seeing something that if you develop on Windows you can't actually Deploy to Mac effectively because Windows doesnt have Mac arcitecture or something like that? Although I also thought I read something saying this was no longer the case. So uhhh? Any idea on What the Deal is? Is it true that I simply cannot Deploy to a Mac if I develop on a Windows machine? Do I need to Develop on a Linux machine to export correctly to Windows and Mac? Help is appreciated. Id rather not have potentional customer's Macs melting down when they try and play my game.
Thanks.

Yes and no.
There is one MacOs file setting that does not exist on Windows. Because of this the deployment to mac on a Windows computer ends in a folder instead of an APP.
But all MacOS apps are nothing but hidden folders and the only thing you would have to do then is to copy the folder to MacOS and tell it that this is a program there, and that has nothing to do with that error message.
Especially you can run the game even without telling MacOS that this is an APP folder by simply going into the folder and launch the correct file manually.
So either the game files were damaged during copying or he tried to start the wrong file in the folder or something like that.
