I have a wired xbox 360 controller and a wireless xbox one controller for windows 10. I also have the Yanfly Gamepad Plugin but the controllers don't seem to be detected by the game or the plugin. With this, I have several questions about MV and Gamepads.
1) Does RPG Maker MV have any controller support built in?
2) If so, should these controllers be working with them and is there troubleshooting that can be done?
3) Are there any plugins that will work with these controllers?
3) Are there other gamepads that have a good history of working with MV?
Thank you for your help in advance!

RPG maker MV doesn't have a built in controller support by default. In fact the only RPG maker that had built in controller support was RM 2000/2003, but it only supported joypad.
You can, however, find some third party plugins that can allow controllers, I'm not sure about their reliability though. -
Just wanted to say that I was having a problem with my xBox 360 controller and installing the driver made it work.
Here is the link for wired https://www.microsoft.com/accessories/en-au/d/xbox-360-controller-for-windows -
