  2. This is only a problem in the sample maps folder right?  Seems to be correct in my game materials folder.
  3. Oh no, it was a problem in materials but the sample one was correct. That means you got the updated one! :'D
  4. For those that have already bought the pack, we just re-download from our client area, correct?
  5. Yep!
  6. Is there a grass tile without a border? I've only got the sample right now, which does have a border.

Sorry but I'm not quite sure what you mean here. Border? Could you please elaborate a bit further if possible?.

Anyhow, there's a single squared grass tile in your TileA5, you can try that and see if it works for you :)

Also if you're referring to the WorldA2 set, then no unfortunately, the border there are sands. They're to connect any kinds of terrain to the sea.
  8. Or do you mean something like World A2 from the VXACE RTP.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. Yeah, the sample overworld DS grass autotile has a sand border. However, I'm wanting to confirm if there's an outside grass autotile with no border, like the top left in RTP and Mack.
  10. There's none.

Man you confuse me, yes they're in Tile A5s, but in the overworld's case, just shifting those grass tiles would have a similar effect.

Yes there are. We have those single squared tiles in A5 which basically acts almost the same way as those you're referring to, except for a few rare cases, which we have none here in this pack.

In the worst case you can always use Shift-Click technique to establish a borderless tile anywhere ;)
  12. I had a question!

I'm really interested in adding the pack to my resources, but I was wondering if the DS character sets, mainly the facesets, clash with the current Ace RTP sets. I know that we've had a discussion a few months ago when the extra DS resources pack was given to members such as myself, but I was curious to see if that change in art design was carried over to the resource pack that is now available for purchase?
  13. Unfortunately the original DS style still remains, so I'm afraid the portraits/facesets will clash with those of RTP.
  14. The sprites you might be able to get away with. I haven't really tested them thoroughly, but you might be able to mix a few of the character sprites. The facesets do look a lot different. I suppose if you went with one or the other, you'd be okay, but not both. The problem is, there's far more facesets that work for VX and Ace than there are for DS. You'd have to create more in the DS style to have a larger variety.

Tilesets as already mentioned would clash.

The best way though is to try for yourself and see how much something clashes. If it clashes a lot, you'll probably want to change it up. If it clashes a little, you might be able to get away with it.

Oh I know this all too well. But people have also expressed interest on the DS style and has requested for it, that's why we made the generator in the first place. It's so people can still generate different combinations. It's just REALLY, REALLLLLYYY hard right now since making generator parts is a b*tch with all the layering and taking things into consideration.
  16. I mean I wasn't saying that the art styles being different was a bad thing. I had hoped the Ace generator had the facesets side-profile like the RTP ones. It's plan to see what is generated and what isn't, but I digress.

Not sure if I am misunderstanding, but the characterset generator pieces for RMDS are in the code. I've pulled a few (only to see if it was possible). If that's okay with Enterbrain, since it would give you essentially the same result, that may be easier.
  18. Hello everyone, the RPG Maker DS files are now in Version 1.3, the filesize should be around 144 MB now. Consult the ChangeLog for any details of the update.
  19. Many thanks for the hard work, Archeia.
  20. Thanks didn't know it got updated till today.

Saw one error in the Change Log that is included in  version 1.3.

It says  "7 Feb" instead of "7 Mar" in it.
