  1. Exactly what the title says.

So I tried out parallax mapping just now and everything worked like a charm, thanks to some tutorials here, but I realized that if I'm using the parallax background as the actual map, then I wouldn't be able to use a regular, moving one like a view from a cliff, for example. Is there a way for me to have both of them like use a picture instead or something?

I'm using yanfly's parallax lock and seer UK's fixed picture btw, if that helps.
  2. I think the script that was included in the demo inside the rural farm tiles would work since you can set an image below the locked parallax. I might be wrong. Can't check it atm nor whats the name of the script.
  3. instead of using a simple parallax lock script, use one of the more complex overlay mapping scripts. Those scripts implement several levels of mapping pictures for different purposes and then you can still use the regular parallax.
  4. Yeah, with the script Picture Variables by Neon Black you can configure a picture to show on the same level as objects/tilesets, freeing up the parallax slot of the map.
  5. Hi!

I did what you guys said and found a different script that uses pictures instead of parallax, so plenty of thanks for that, guys!
