  1. So, I have been looking around all over for a Moogle charset for RMMV for my "I'm bored, let's make a Final Fantasy Fan Game!!" game..

and to no avail. So.. I frankensprited what I could from generator parts.. *I'm not even sure if this is allowed here? I know pure generator generated content isn't.. but I actually had to edit pixels and add the Angler-ma-thingy on it's head).

Umm.. This is my first like.. sprite-work ever.. even though it's edits. If anyone would like to edit it to make it better/crisper, etc., please feel free to do so. No credit necessary for non-commercial games. Not to be used in commercial games. EVAR!! :)

Image has been relocated to my new Resource Thread HERE

    So, enjoy. KUPO!!

  2. I'm not a legal expert but I'm pretty sure that even though the sprite itself wasn't ripped from any existing FF game, the fact that this was recreated to look like a Moogle is violating Square Enix's intellectual property rights. You might not get in trouble for using it in a non-commercial game (assuming its kept private and doesn't get huge press coverage), but I would strongly caution against using this in anything remotely commercial.

You might want to research this topic further on your own, but here's a good article (although a bit dated) courtesy of Google:

Feel free to make one. Hehe. I am by no means an artist. This make-shift Moogle took me ... longer than I'd like to admit.. LOL. :)

If you happen to find other Moogles for MV, please, send me a link.

I have no artistic skill for things like the this XD. I am an artist of words. If I find more I'll let you know
  7. You are correct, you are free to post this as you've done work someone could not simply do with the generator alone.

hadecynn is also correct - you are free to make such a game and likely, if it's just for your own amusement, no one will know and you won't face consequences. But, you should be aware that there is always the possibility of facing consequences for using a company's, no matter whether you make money from it or not, and yes, you should do some research (there are so many topics on this board already covering the matter) and make your own decision as to how to proceed.
