Rm2k RTP remakes

So I recently found this Alex sprite set from Rm2k, only remade by a guy named Albertov.



And I was thinking, maybe there's a skilled spriter here looking for a challenge, who could do the other RTP heroes from Rm2k in the same style. I really loved those characters and it would be cool to see them usable for XP & VX.

The RM2k have already been made into chiba/Ace/VX style but you will have to find those on your own pal.

but I do like the look of that sprite. The coloring is excellant.

I'm not talking about the chibi style, I'm talking about the style as shown in that sprite. I don't personally really like the chibi style, and I think the sprite in my first post leans more towards Mack.

Out of curiousity, I'd like to see those Rm2k remakes though. I've been searching Google all over, but haven't really found anything yet. One site supposedly had some, but ofcourse that site has disappeared into internet oblivion.

Oh, there it is. I think they look really cool. I'd still love to see them full size, able for use in both XP and VX. I don't know, I just think it's something cool for the community to have. I've also contacted the original author if he was planning to do more, but it's been four years since he submitted that, so I doubt that's gonna happen.

Yeah same here. I think most of us can remember the days when there was a plenthora of games made in Rm2k featuring Alex as the lead character. Despite people saying back then that using RTP was bland, it did make the characters grow on me. Probably more than XP's or VX's ever will.
