Let's see what fabulous resources we have lined up!

    Hiddenone

Hiddenone's talents are certainly not hidden away in this release.. Pick up a fantastic array of creepy sprites, featuring a shadow, the anatomy model come to life, a bat boy, as well as some scary versions of window tiles and a statuette that blinks.. Whatever you do, don't blink.

    Pallinskyjoe

What's this? Another amazing treat? We have the talented Pallinskyjoe to join us with some wonderful Halloween sprites! There's a witch, a scarecrow, a (frankly, terrifying) spider, a candycorn and a ghost! We're spoiled for choice!

    Scythuz

Set your game's mood with our resident musical genius, Scythuz. We're gifted with a spooktastic track that's perfect for your magical rituals, creepy dungeons, and more! Download the pack to hear more of this lovely piece.

    Slimmmeiske2

Slimmmeiske2 always brings a feast of resources, and this SCAReStaff is no exception! We're blessed with an outstanding amount of sprites, featuring MZ'S RTP cast in Halloween costumes (wait, are those really costumes..?), Reid as an adorable little fairy, and MV's Harold as a stunning nurse. I know who I'd want taking care of me after a candy overload..

    Tea's Jams

Tea also joins us this month with some gothic floor tiles! We have a selection of dark carpet autotiles, plus some dark wooden floors and stone tiles!

  2. Nice job as always guys!
  3. Everything looks great, but...those teddy bears
  4. AAHHH YES!!
Restaff is back! Amazing sprites and music here! I especially am liking the idea of closets with the hidden.... surprises. XD

I hope I can get to a point where I can contribute to Restaff myself as well. :kaopride:
  5. Superstoked it's finally out! :D I hope people enjoy my contribution and find some use for fairy Reid and nurse Harold. (Also, Michelle as a devil is an aesthetic.)

@Avery I'm so happy you remade some of your Halloween icons to the MV/MZ style you use. For my Boss Battle entry I was searching for a vampire icon that would fit a 'Bite' skill. I couldn't find it and made due with something else, but this would have been perfect for it. :wub I can't help but imagine coming across those bears in a horror game and getting chased by them all of a sudden. Such a scary and terrifying thought :kaocry:

@Caz There's noting more spookier than opening the cupboard and realizing you only have one jacket left  Jokes aside, this cupboard is a great addition and works well with Hiddenone's sprites of the anatomy model.

@gothicvoid The black kitty is so eerie and I love the different pumpkin faces, but the graves are my favourites. I love that you killed not only Harold, but also Game Dev. xD (The process of finishing a game can make me feel like I'm slowly dying, so very appropriate tombstone.)

@hiddenone So much spooky and scary stuff. Lots of little details (the bust, the windows) that can really add a lot to a horror game. The anatomy model sprite is a nice addition and I love the shadow monster animation you made. Bat Boy's the cutest. I wanna keep him. :wub

@palinskyjoe Yay, happy you contributed! :D Loving the sprites. That walking candycorn sprite would work well with a horror version of Hansel and Grethel and so would the witch. And wow, the blurb was totally right; that spider is nightmare fuel.

@Scythuz The music dragon has returned with a lovely track! While it's not a scary track, I do get an unsettling feeling listening to it. It's like I've accidentally stumbled upon a mysterious (and doomsday) artifact I should definitely not touch.

@Tea's Jams There can never be enough carpets. The purple one is the best <3

    nurse Harold.
I adore that one! I think it's so great.
  7. Double hooray! We're being spoiled by spooky freebies this week and I am not complaining. Thanks, everyone! ^_^
  8. I hope people are excited about this release, it was a lot of fun to work on! And I can't wait to see where people use my shadow appearance behavior, once I had the idea for it I had to make it. :)

@Avery Love how the bears turned out, the non-scary versions would be a great companion in a game where the hero is a kid. And your icons are gorgeous as always. :)

@Caz Those cabinets are great, and I can already imagine how creepy it'll be to open one in a game and finding the school's anatomy model inside... Only for it to slam shut and then be gone when you open it again.

@gothicvoid Love the black cat, it would make for a great hint-giver or save point in certain games. And the smashed pumpkin would be so perfect for that one neighborhood house that only gives out raisins. ;)

@palinskyjoe They all turned out amazing! Love the ghost and candy corn, but I just know that spider is going to show up in plenty of dark and creepy caves to scare the pants off of players.

@Scythuz It's a beautiful song, perfect for when you stumble upon lost ruins. It definitely has a mysterious vibe that could be the calm before the storm (or before the scares, depending on the game).

@slimmmeiske2 So many great costumes, and it's great that the different versions mean these guys could be nameless enemies in games instead of just being heroes. :) Devil Michelle is so great, she'd make an awesome demon lord.

@Tea's Jams More floor additions are always welcome! The carpets would be great in an evil castle, or maybe just in an angsty teen's bedroom.
    Lovely work, everyone! :ptea:
  9. Ahh I also want to gush after seeing everything together!!

@Avery -- Somehow making an Advent calendar, teaching lessons in your graduate class, and developing your normal flow of resources, you also churned out these fantastic and creepy bears?! You're a machine! *Beep Boop* And, of course, your icons are always lit (at the kids say)

@Caz -- these closets are fantastic!! not only can they be used for creepy games, the fact that they can be opened to reveal so many different combinations makes for a fun, silly Scooby Doo-like shenanigans :D

@gothicvoid - anything that has to do with cats is immediately something I love, and add a hat to the equation and my heart explodes in joy... so thanks for exploding my heart with joy! Also, the pumpkin selection really makes for a robust seasonal selection (along with the rotten pumpkin, ideal for that November scene)

@Scythuz -- this immediately put me in such a nice and relaxed place... but since it is part of a Halloween collection... I was worried I was being lulled into a false sense of security!! Seriously though, wonderful music ideal for so many settings!

@slimmmeiske2 - wow!! those costumes!! I love the creativity and the variation!! And Nurse Harold definitely has the cure for what ails!! Cute + creepy = the best! Also, please feel free to use that Candy Corn and Witch to tell any fairytales you desire!! Just don't forget to leave a trail of breadcrumbs...

@Tea's Jams - who doesn't love more selection with tiles?! Perfect for gothic scenes and more, I love that there's so much that can be done with these!!

@hiddenone - last but not least, THOSE ANATOMY MODELS!! Adorable and horrifying!! I still want to be friends with the winking statue (he/she/they/it has a secret that I want to know!) -- and Bat Boy came out SO absolutely wild!! And fancy! Like, what a dapper monster!

Also, everyone should be aware that Hiddenone is indirectly to blame for the creepy spider's existence! I was given some amazing input on my drafts and when she suggested to go big on the spider and add some fangs... welll... I took the advice and ran with it as they say!

For reference, this is the much-more-cutesy draft that I started with for the spider before scrapping it and going full-monster mode:

spdrtest.png(Doesn't invoke the same amount of fear!)

[[Sorry for using a year's worth of exclamation points in this post, I honestly am riding a nice rush of joy after seeing all this cool stuff! :) ]]
  10. I like cutesy-spider. Lull your heroes into a false sense of security and then BLAH! scary fang spider face!
  11. i love those floor and carpet additions @Tea's Jams
  12. These are lovely, and perfect additions to any horror game. Well done, everyone!
  13. Thank you all for the compliments, and thank everyone who contributed!!! This is very fun :LZSjoy::LZSjoy::LZSjoy:
  14. goddamn this rules!
I was in such a frantic crunch to get my Spooktober Jam 2021 game done on time I completely missed this dropping

    more feedback later

  16. Good day everyone! Assets are awesome. But please add detail terms of use for this pack.
    1. Are everything free to use in RPG Maker MZ?
    2. Does it need credits and which type?
    3. Any restrictions?
    etc...
  17. Hi @DartNak - the terms and conditions are actually all included! Since this is a compilation, each artist has different terms. Each artist has included terms along with their resources and these documents are included in the Zip files on the download page. Hopefully this helps!

Edit: figured I'd add a screenshot if that helps anyone who doesn't know where the terms are! The files should be text files named "Terms of Use" or "Read Me"
