ReStaff November 2012 Release!

  1. Welcome everyone to Restaff's Eighth Release!

    This month of November has been crazy with releases! Here we go!

    We also don't allow the resources to be redistributed anywhere else.

    First up is from the awesome, Fomar0153!

    This month he contributed two scripts that could potentially help spice up your battles.

    The first script focuses on Smarter AI! It's a script that makes enemies heal the most injured person,
    buff/debuff a target who is already buffed/debuffed over a target who isn't.

    The second script is about triggering codes based on conditions, such as a battler loses or gains a state, etc.

    Second is from the resident artist, Archeia_Nessiah!

    Based on Thalzon's fabulous fencer, she created a bust shot, facesets AND a sprite for it.

    Enjoy the Badass Grandma and kick some monster ass!

    Third is from our fantastic, EvilEagles!​

    He created 17 large icons! How you will use it depends on you, but they are awesomely made!

    Fourth is from our art machine, Thalzon!

    Ever wanted some Townsfolk/Civilian Battlers for your game?

    Don't worry! Thalzon got your back! He made 9 battlers to help you spice up your game!

    Fifth is from our awesome friend, Timmah!

    He created 7 colorful battle animations that could help make your skills more interesting!

    Last, but not the least, a contribution from our lovely admin, Lunarea!

    She created two trees, one for fall and one for winter, that could help add some variety to your maps~

  6. This month is quite crazy indeed hahaha. At first we even thought we were going to be really short of manpower for November release, but thankfully many of us still managed to pull something out. So, awesome job done there guys!

    Oops I wonder if got that the wrong way round in the script header.

    It should read:

    buff/debuff a target who isn't already buffed/debuffed over a target who is.

    The second script also let's you set conditions on using equipment and skills.

  12. Um... this one doesn't have a "You can/cannot use in commercial games" readme... or am I imagining that there ever was one of those...

    Other than that. Awesome release. Loving that kickass grandma! Might be having a use for her... maybe.

    Restaff releases are free to use in none commercial games. For commercial you should contact the creator directly.

    For the record all of my restaff contributions are free for commercial games.

    that AI script looks awesome

    Expect my declarations of love shortly, as well as gift baskets filled with kittens and champagne.

    (Also, everything else looks really cool! You guys are doing such great work ;w;d)
  16. I have a question. Do I have to credit the people individually or just enterbrain in general? I'd rather not have to continously record which of the resources I used from each person and mix them all together, but I will if I have to.
  17. These are independent artists who are part of the community, none of these resources are from Enterbrain, so yes, individual artists must be credited if they ask for it.
  18. The contributors are from the community and are not contracted by EB. ReReleases are voluntary work, so please do credit by artist. :> The resources are sorted within folders according to who is the creator.

    I'm going to be charset stiching with the characters, so the indivuals are kinda lost.

    Just write them down before you start. Its best to keep a running resource list with credits as you make the game.
