Resolution question

If i set the resolution of the game in 1920x1080 (community_basic plugin) will it work on every pc or will it find some troubles? Sorry for the (maybe) stupid question...

It will not work on PCs that are not capable of that resolution (older PCs).

Or my laptop which only has 1366x768 resolution.

Some people have reported increased lag upon that high resolution.
Also, are you sure you can justify this high resolution?

Can you suggest me a good resolution? (Better than 816x624)

Some common ones are 1024x768, 1186x768 and 1366x768. But on full HD res everything will just look too small.
