I need a baby dragon sprite. It's to be a playable character in my upcoming game, Black Wing: A Mercenary's Tale.
He needs to be constantly flying and the size of a typical character. Its scale coloration is black with golden ophidian eyes, and a ridge of red fur from head to tail, similar to a mohawk.
For the faceset, there needs to be eight emotions:
Neutral, Happy, Sad, Angry
Greedy, Confused, Depressed, and Enraged.
He needs to look cute, but fearsome. I need the face to convey the emotions, without resorting to silly symbols to indicate their mood.
His general body shape is traditional western style, similar to the giant dragon sprite from the default RTP. Four legs, wings, tail.
The game is non-commercial, credit will be given, and if you want, you can be an easter egg in the game with words of your choice, as long as they're not rude, crude, or dirty.
I know this is a complex request, but I thank you in advance. Reply if you want to do this.

Sure, not exactly what you need, but maybe something you could edit for your purpose? -
animal sprite list has dragon section.

While those are pretty cool, and they're nice looking, as stated in my post, I need facesets that will convey emotion. Also, in the links that led to Japanese blogs showing the sprites and sets, I can't read or understand Japanese, I would have no idea what is allowed or disallowed for those sprites.
@Deb: Your resource list was the first place I looked, before setting up a request. -
It's a lot easier to make emotions for an existing face than it is to draw a face from scratch, so if any of those would work with a little editing you should say so. It seems you missed it, but Avery did ask that before. The Japanese blogs aren't as much of a worry anymore either, there are translations available.

Okay, I'm starting to understand what you mean by editing, though I need something more than just a simple eye and mouth edit. Different positions of the head, for example, could convey emotion effectively, and taking a pre-existing fully made faceset and editing it to where the head has different positions would be fairly difficult, I'm not sure how exactly to explain it.
