Requesting a Beastiary. (Is that how you spell that?)

  1. I'm requesting a simple bestiary script. I know there are a few already available, but none of those are quite what I want, though if nobody helps me I will have to use those. I just need it to display the info in the enemies tab of the data base, stats, pic, etc.. I would like the script to automatically update itself, to include every enemy defeated in battle only after they are defeated. I would also like it to automatically obtain the info from that database. I don't know if this is possible or not. The only thing I would want to do inside the actual script is to write a short description of the enemy. If I need to be more descriptive let me know.
  2. Umm, does this does what you want?
  3. This is pretty much exactly what I wanted. I like the added bonus of being able to look at the know info in battle. One thing I would like changed is the scan skill, I would like the info to be automatically obtained after an enemy is defeated.

You can change it, I think how it's done is that it'll slowly reveal the weaknesses by the more kills you do to the specified monster, but you can modify that :)

EDIT: Do you mean after using scan skill?
  5. I Would modify it but I'm not a scripter. I know nothing about scripting, except for some scriptcalls.

Wait, sorry for confusion lol, I tested it and when you scan, all what you scan is saved, although you can make that some enemies can't be scanned, like bosses and such, and weakness doesn't reveal by kills, that is just description, it is revealed by using the elemental skill on the enemy, and then it is revealed. :) So this is what you were searching right?
  7. I was wanting the info to automatically be fully obtained, when the enemy is defeated in battle for the first time.
  8. It sounds like my bestiary (found here) will probably do just about all of what you want in its base form (though you may wish to remove the second page, which should be simple enough to do with a quick scan of the documentation). It does include element and state resistance information, which may not be desired, but once again you can easily remove that from the display.
  9. Ok I will check it out later.
  10. Here is the solution, now when enemy is defeated, everything (weaknesses, resists, etc) will be revealed once you defeat the enemy :)  if you don't know what to do, PM me and I'll send you the script modified :)
  11. Thanks you very much for your help. If I can't get it to work I will pm you or the person who made the script.
