Replace Death state icon

In my game, I am renaming the Death state to either Exhausted or Unconscious.  The skull and crossbones icon used for the Death state is, therefore, not appropriate.  Trouble is, I can't think what to use instead.

Anyone got any ideas?  Preferably something that would be artistically easy to implement, given my limited artistic skills.

The letters "KO"?

Unfortunately the rotating stars is used for Confusion, and that is probably too deeply entrenched in players' expectations to shift it on to something else.  By a fainted human, do you mean one flat on its back?  I could try, but I think to get that into 24x24 is going to be an artistic challenge too far for me.  (Never underestimate my incompetence!)
