Remove skill types via states

  1. Sorry to bother yourselves,i want to know if there a script that remove temporally a skill type.

    The seal feature doenst convince me,because i want to create a frog state similar to Final Fantasy series.

  2. you can't remove skill types directly in default, you'll need a workaround.


    You could request a script that gives this ability, you could condition the skills to equipment and make that unusable while being a frog, you can create a "frog"-class without skills and temprarily change the actor to that class by events and possible some other ways ...


    The best solution depends on how you set up your actors and classes, if you give us more info on how you've done that we might be able to help you better.
  3. Good afternoon Andar,i created a state called "frog"with some buffs,Fomar 0153 sprite battlers and Neon Black State GFX.

    I`m using Victor Sant replace command for replacing the skill typer,but that is not a complete solution.

    For example:

    Special is replaced by Dragon Seal,but what about magic?

    That means i cannot use more than one skill type for actor.

  4. You need to set up a checker whether if the user is bound to a state. This could be done by tinkering around the default script, but that is if we are talking about a general party, not a specific one. For example, all of your characters, bound under this state, should all the skill type be sealed.
