Realtime Battle System?

  1. I have looked all over and cannot find a realtime battle system for RMVX Ace. The closest things I found were Gubid's FF-Tactics style battle system and Requiem's ABS system, which is written for RMVX (not Ace) and I cannot open the project file due to lack of backwards compatibility between Ace and VX project files.

Does anyone know of a good realtime battle system (kind of like zelda battle system, where you fight on the map and don't go to a battle screen) for VX Ace?
  2. By real-time, you need to distinguish for us between ATB (Active Turn Battle - timed turns where enemies can attack while you're selecting actions ie: FF4~10) or ABS. (Active Battle System - moving/attacking on maps and killing evented monsters ie: Zelda/Zenonia)
  3. I am interested in this client does it have ABS built in?
  4. do you have a SCRIPT for a zelda game style. no engines just a SCRIPT

no real time is like a zelda game attack on the field. kinda like a hack and slash

What you want IS called an ABS in this community - because a lot of different battlesystems are all real-time.

And you should rather describe the mechanics themselves instead of comparing them with <unknown game XY>. I never played a Zelda game, so that comparison does not tell me anything.

But "Hack'n Slash" Games are action-battle-systems, and you need scripts to implement them (there are four or five different ABS to choose for details)
  7. Shad0wsBin, please refrain from necro-posting in a thread. Necro-posting is posting in a thread that has not had posting activity in over 30 days. You can review our forum rules here. Thank you.

Also, if it wasn't a necropost, you'd be hijacking someone else's thread.

If you need help with something or a script, please post your own thread (in the correct subforum - this is not it) asking for it.  Thank you.
