Random Art Thread

Since the old thread was going off in quite a wrong direction so I figured we should have a more proper one dedicated to random art and sketches. This thread is basically for posting artworks, sketches, doodles, scrabbles, and other abominations that you feel don't deserve their own threads, and perhaps ones that require some quick C&C. A centralized C&C hub for art rather than a basic gallery, you could say.

To start off, have some doodle stuff I cooked up a while ago.

You can upload the picture somewhere else. You just have to get the direct link of the picture, and put it in the tag on here to show it. Just click on this  button.

I knew that much, sorry I wan't clear.  Just didn't want to upload bad pics to our trash'd art to the internet outside of here.  It's okay I'll just upload good art here instead :D Thanks

Couple quick-sketch things from not too long ago.

I've been trying to get better at drawing lately, especially my hands. I did this line drawing on my new tablet (!) of one my characters, named Whynn. 

I decided recently that I want to start learn drawing. So I bought drawing tablet and made this as my second attempt to draw a person.


I know it is horrible but I'm just an amateur.

Can anyone contribute?

Decided just yesterday that I should try doing some art for my game.

I am having a go at this game making contest. I have no idea what i am doing but i made some art and thought i should share

S.O.B. that's good. I haven't had any fears of real competition until just now. That house looks great.  Water too just the land outside needs to be finished up

lol thanks and dont worry i have almost no coding skill I just like the art side of making games, so not sure how mine will turn out or if i can even finish it 

We should talk sometime. I have a map artist already but I really like what you did here.  (Though our characters might look odd against such detail haha)



Left is our current sprite but we're likely changing to something like the right side.

sounds good feel free to send me a message any time, I really like the sprites on the right looks way better and it breaks away from the normal chibi look

Yeah we decided to change that made more sense with the violence of the game. I mean you could avoid combat if that's your play style but since there  is the option to kill and such making the game a bit mature we decided chibi didn't really fit that.

I drew a few critters. Here is a rat. In my etch-a-sketch line style, lol. Uhm. I don't hate it? He's pretty cute, I think.

It has been small eternity since I drew last time. Could not resist anymore today and picked up a pencil while waiting to get my hands on my new tablet again. The picture is a little bit big one.

Currently working on a UI setup for combat. Should be finished in a couple days.  Here's the UI before health, energy, etc are added in.
