Ok, there is no forum page that allows this question that I was comfortable with leaving it in, so forgive me if this is the wrong place.
I have frequented several RPG Maker friendly forum websites to get assistance or to learn things/DL things... Namely, this site (which is working fine), rpgmaker.net and rpgmakervx.com along with the ACE version of that site.
When I attempt to go to rpgmakervx.net (the www.rpgmakervxace.net seems to be fine) it takes me to another website promoting iEntry Network software. I've tried several Google/Bing searches and even went to some of my Favorite Bookmarks I have and they all take me to the same website (ientry.com).
I have done 3 different scans of my computer and such but the firewall and scanners found nothing wrong with my system - to which, if there ever was, the virus protection software I paid for always catches it, so it can't be that I'm being... what's that called? Attacked by Phishing software I think is the term??? Excuse my lack of hacker/programer lingo. >.<'
Anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions?

I am also experiencing this. I expect the site is down temporarily or something similar but don't rely on my words.

When you go to the whois to check said page, you'll learn that the technical support for it goes through a hosting company "ientry, inc".
So there is no virus or so, the site is simply redirecting to the hosting company's default pages.
This could either be because the original data was deleted, or it could be because there are maintainance issues at the hosting company.
But it is not something on your own computer... -

If you are looking for something in particular from vx.net, I would be glad to try and help you if I can.
And as far as what is happening, I don't know anything more than anyone else. -
iEntry is the company that owns vx.net. They are a company that buys up successful sites then ladens them with ads to attempt to make money. I am not fond of them.
Their site is probably just down. -
Thank you Grandma Deb, but mostly everything I ever need I tend to find from your post here: http://www.rpgmakervx.net/index.php?showtopic=9014If you are looking for something in particular from vx.net, I would be glad to try and help you if I can.

It's a wonderful post, btw, thank you very much! Especially loved the tutorials and such... :) -
I too am after some things. Hopefully off-site links to their restaff files, all of them, if at all possible, as I am missing those. If you are looking for something in particular from vx.net, I would be glad to try and help you if I can.

FWIW, I have been breaking that list up into smaller components for some time. For example, there is now a separate list of music and special effects, a list of portraits and facesets, a list of balloons and icons, etc. So eventually that entire list will be recreated and updated.Thank you Grandma Deb, but mostly everything I ever need I tend to find from your post here: http://www.rpgmakervx.net/index.php?showtopic=9014

The ReStaff Materials are still available in their respective MediaFire locations. I'll be setting up their links as a post in my blog when I get to that stage of things.
