Question about creating new accessory for the generator...

  1. Hi. I am relatively new to MV, and have recently discovered how to implement my own pieces to the character generator. Currently, I am attempting to implement a cloak for the face image. I have managed to do this, but the issue I am facing is with the hair inside the cloak. At the moment, the inside portion of the cloak covers the hair. However, I would like to make it to where the hair is visible over this inside portion, though underneath the outer portion. I tried to solve this problem by cutting the inner portion of the cloak out and creating a separate image for it. I then put inner part of it into the male face folder as "FG_AccB_p09_c2_m016", and the outer portion as "FG_AccB_P09_c3_m016". I have found this does not work, causing a mere loading symbol upon clicking the cloak in the generator. Thus I switched back to the image where both the inner and outer portions are combined.

My main question is, is there a way to put the outer portion of the cloak on a layer that covers the hair, and the inner portion of the cloak on a layer that is under the hair but over the face?

If so, I would really appreciate it if someone could explain how to do this.

Thank you for your help. I apologize for posting in the wrong place. I will be sure to further examine what each section is for before I post again.
