Problems with Modern Day Pack Tiles

  1. OK, first off I am not exactly sure what I am doing wrong. First of all I'm trying to put a kitchen into the house but the stove just won't fit. I'm trying to get it to look like this one.

    But no matter what I do I can't get it to work. I even try putting the stove in a event to see if that will fix its tiling.Is there anyway I can fix this issue because I really love these tiles but unfortunately they don't want to cooperate so I can't use them.
  2. Could you show us an example of HOW exactly it "won't fit"?

    Screenshots are a big help.

  4. I think it was parralaxed.
  5. I'm not sure what parallaxing is exactly and I have no idea how to do it.
  6. The map was not made in the editor. It was made with Photoshop, using the tiles, and then put into the game as a parallax background.
  7. I see, so is there no way for me to use it exactly?
  8. Are you  familiar with any graphical editing programs (gimp, photoshop, etc.)? All you really need to do is cut and paste the stove up a bit then you could use it as a regular tile...it's a bit bigger than a single grid square but it would work I think.
  9. You can use it to make maps just like the RTP. But if you want to make maps like those maps you will need to parallax.


    You can create a new B-E tile and copy the ones you're needing onto it, moving their position slightly so they're positioned as you want, and then use that tilesheet in your tileset and map normally. You don't have to parallax the entire map if you don't want to.
