Pressure activated switches...?

  1. So what I'm trying to do is make a pressure switch that needs something (ex. a box or rock) on top of it to be activated.

    Like in Legend of Zelda, when Link has to push a statue or large block over a switch to make it stay down.

    I've already got switches that the player steps on and they activate but I want one that needs another object on it to stay active.

    Anyone know how I can do this?
  2. If I remember correctly, there is a tutorial in the official degica blog about this - just check the tutorials in the blog top right of this site.


    This is not as easy as player-activated switches, because an event cannot trigger another event, you have to check for that differently.
