Press turn battle system

  1. I researched a lot to see if this script existed. It seems there are a lot in development, but few have been published. Yami's battle engine melody seemed to have it, but it's only supported in RMVX. Does a similar script exist somewhere? Thanks for any help.

    Yea, I get anxious just thinking about it. I don't even feel like releasing my game without having it, which pisses me off. 
  4. please describe what you mean by "press turn battle system" - there are a lot of battlescript out there, and it might be that the mechanic already exists under a different name.

    The press turn battle system originated from Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne. Here's a video of one in development for Ace. 




    How it works: Each person has one turn. If a member hits an enemies weakness, they get an additional half turn. If they miss an attack, they lose two turns. This works with the enemies as well. 
  6. sorry, that is something I haven't seen in the scripts before.


    It might be possible to make something like this as a modifications of one of the CTB/ATB-Systems, but even that would be a lot of work.

    I figured as much. I'm hoping soon someone will release their works.
