    It first appeared somewhere around the year 603.
     
    A huge, mysterious Tower with an almost endless amount of floors. Storys say there is a huge Treasure at the top floor. Including the 'Crown of Kingdoms'. Since the tower appeared, people try to get the treasure or the crown. Besides braves Adventurers and mighty Heroes there are also shady Bandits that try to get the crown.
     
    A Legend says who wears the crown has the Power to lead the 3 Kingdoms. Or plunge them into Chaos. It depends on the Person who has the power to make it to the top Floor. It's been over 20 years when the Tower appeared first. Now, in Year 625, still no one made it to the last Floor.
     
    Everyone who tried to get on top of the Tower either died or is missing. But new Adventurers, Heroes and Bandits are on their way to try getting the treasures of the Tower. These days the Tower is called 'Tower of Glory'. Some things also changed. People say they're already people that build villages and camps between the floors. Even merchants make money of adventurers that need potions or equipment between the floors.
     
    New Heroes have already been sighted at the horizon. Bandits come out of their woods. Adventurer prepares their equipment. Get ready for the hardest of all your journeys. Become the King and decide what will happen to the 3 kingdoms or die while you try to.

    Currently, the game offers 30 minutes of gameplay and big areas except the starting area. Once the game is finish it offers multiple choices while the story progresses and will have multiple endings. In the world the game plays in exists almost no magic. There are also exciting sidequests. It has no custom characters only the resources Enterbrain offers, but custom Titlesets and Monsters. You can change the difficulty of the game and choose between easy, normal, heroic and hard. Besides the difficulty menu there is also an option menu where you are able to change the window color, enable/disable auto-dash, instant text and skip battle animations. The resolution of the game is extended to 640x480 in window mode and 16:9 support in fullscreen mode. In battles monsters has an HP bar added and after you win the fight a victory screen appears that shows how much gold, experience (and items) you got and in addition it rates how your performance was. Rating S is the best, followed from A to F (as the worst). You gain a little bit more or less experience depending on your battle rank.
     
    Features that haven't been added yet but will find their way into the game are: new group members, custom classes, custom skills, new and custom items/equipment.
     
    Features that might be added to the game, but most likely not are: light effects, sound overhaul (new bgm, new battle music).

    Emret (Player)- Class: Adventurer
    (You can change the name) 
    He's a foolhardy adventurer with the goal to get on the top floor of the tower. But that's the presence. His mother educated him alone because his father wasn't home often. Someday he never came back. No one knows exactly why some people say he's a high-rank general of the royal guards and some say that isn't true. Whatever is the truth, our hero gave up the search for his father a long time ago. Then, at a point where it almost could not get any worse, his mother got killed near the path of their hometown to the next village. After our hero broke up in tears for days he pulled himself together and trained to revenge his mother one day. People say the bandit who killed his mother is known as 'Blake'. After 2 years of hard work and training, he decided to go to the 'Tower of Glory', like some of his friends and fellow men did. He began his journey and soon he landed at a coastline when he was awakened by a old man...
     

    Miranje (Group) - Class: Mystic Ranger
    Miranje is a beautiful elf girl that got trained the art of archery many years ago by her parents. She lives in a small forest encampment and lives around humans who accept her, but not like her. Bored of the daily work there she waits for an opportunity to get out of the camp. But she never met someone she could go with and looking for another village or town would cause the same boredom after some time. Also, she has a secret better no one should know about, the ability to make use of small forms of magic. Magic is hated by almost everyone in the world and does exist very rarely only. But whatever her magical power is so little that the only use of it is to enchant the tip of her arrows. Arrows she hasn't used a long time now...

     
    Emil (Old Man) / Zerfat
    Emil is a nice old man who lives peacefully and withdrawn with his wife, Agate, near a coastline. They built themselves a house years ago and didn't encounter any trouble with bandits (and also relationship technically). It must be luck that no greedy bandits attacked them in all the years. Maybe because they know Emil was an adventurer in those days? Like our hero, he tried to get on top of the tower of glory, but with a big group of brave friends and other adventurers. Unfortunately, they were too weak and almost all of them died except Emil and 2 fellow adventurers. After this tragic experience Emil decided to live in a town far away of all trouble. This is how he met the most beautiful girl he has ever seen - Agate. Soon they planned to build their own house and live peacefully in a quiet place. But no one knows what of this story is true and what isn't because Emil and his wife have a dark secret. But whether it is true or not, he has just sighted a body at the coastline...
     
    Agate (Old Lady) / Lyndra
    Before she met Emil, Agate lived a normal life like most of the people. She first helped her parents out in their bakery and later took over the shop when her parents were to old to keep working. After her mother died a peaceful death, Agate was more than sad and even worst her father died only some days after her mother. The bakery reminded her every day of them and the first few weeks she had to run the bakery alone were really hard. After 2 years of hard work she met Emil while he enjoyed a walk by the sea in the park on her way from the bakery to her house. That day changed everything...
     
    General Marco
    Marcos goal always was to become a general of the royal guards. He was a pattern alumni of the military school and graduated all tasks with engraving. Marco could have concluded the military school and directly become an officer, but instead his brutal nature became an obstacle. He did brutally beat up a younger student that visited a school class under him for not cleaning his shoes right. Because of this disorder he wasn't allowed to conclude the military school as an officer. Marco was lucky he got a completion as a soldier and wasn't kicked out of the military school without any rank instead instead. Soon, he was sent into battles against insurgents bandits and enjoyed the killing. When he was sure no one notices it, he even killed women and their children. He got more and more bloodthirsty. After countless battles and following orders, or pretend to do so, he made it to an officer, and soon to a general. It's sure he will abuse his powers...

    Intro
    A screenshot of the intro when you first start the game. I'm not completely sure if i will let it look like this.
    I'd adjust the speed of the scrolling so I can read the text. I'm not english so it's not the easiest thing.
    Might be a little bit slow for you. Please tell me how the grammar of this text was.

     
    Multiple Choices
    E.g. this scene. When you say that you want to plunge the world into chaos he won't cooperate with
    you and wont help you get your equipment back. Also you won't be able to enter his house.
    If you tell him you will try to reunite the kingdoms with the crown of the tower he want to help you.
    In that case it's a Apple that restores 25 HP (Only usable out of battle).

    A simple screenshot. It's the hut of the old man you can enter or not - whatever you said to the old man.
    See the glowing on the tree? Ingame it's animated and let you know that there is something to pick up.

     
    Hut of the first area
    You can interact with ever object in the game. In the hut I tried to make these interactions a little bit funny.
    The character has to say something about everything. A '?' appears if the character is near something he
    can interact with.

     
     
    Part of the first main quest
    The game will have a main questline and some optional sidequests. You don't need to do the sidequests
    but they give extra items, gold and experience. In this scene you'll need a pickaxe thats east of the entrance
    to break the stone and continue.

     
    Mine (Blocked Exit)
    Adventurers dont have a easy live, huh? You will find the exit closed by the Royal Guards, one of the
    factions in my game. After some talking, you know that you won't get through. The guards give you
    a old knive so you can at least protect yourself a little bit better while you try to find another exit.

     
    Battle Victory Screen
    Here you can look at the victory screen script by 'Neon Black'. It gives you information how you did in
    battle, rates it with grades and gives you experience and gold equal to the rating. A 'S' grade (best possible,
    won with one turn) would give you 125% of the base gold and experience. A monster that drops 60 gold would
    give you 75 gold then.

     
    Main Menu
    This is the main menu of the game. Here you are able to view/manage your equipment, view your status
    and everything else thats based in the game without scripts. Note that the status isn't bugged, there is no
    magic in the game. In my story only few people in the world are able to use it - maybe you encounter one
    of that persons. Difficulty: Here you can choose between Easy- Normal - Heroic - Hard (This got me rid
    of any balancing problems with battles). Statistics: Here you can view things like steps taken, species
    seen or battles won / lost / fleen. The options let you change the color of the windows, enable/disable
    always dash, instant text and battle animations. Script authors are named in the credits.

    In order to make my game better your help is valued and important. If you played the game, please just don't close the page and forget about it (or come back later for newer versions). Instead give me suggestions and critism on what can be improved or tell me what's already a good part of the game and doesn't need much improvement. Additional, in case you enjoy the game, you can become a tester. You'll get new versions before the public and, if you want, get background information in a private talk that aren't shared to the public at that time.     My first language isn't english so many mistakes are expected.

    It's the first story ever devised by me.
     
    What do you think about the battles, are they good balanced?

    Hello my name is Sebastian, the person behind tower of glory. I'm 19 Years old and from Germany. Started with RPG Maker VX Ace yesterday (09/24/14). I want to share with you my very first project. I've read the basic tutorials and tips and know that my first project won't be as good as I want it to be but thats okay for me. I'm posting the current state of the project as playble demo becouse just making the game and don't get feedback while doing it isn't much exciting for me. Not saying that RPG Maker isn't fun - it's by far the most fun thing I've spend time on. But some feedback and talk about my game with people telling me whats good, and what could be better, is something I would appreciate. Please give my game a chance, and throw all the things you dont like about the game right in my face. The english text is my biggest problem. My english isn't perfect and if you read some issues - and I'm sure you will - please let me know. I may know the words but not the best grammar to tell the player what I want to say in the best way.
     
    The game is in 'early-alpha' and many things will be added, changed or removed.

    Acually the current version took me 3 days. I've wrote tomorrow, but that was 2 days ago.

    I hope soon someone will play the game and share his opinion about it :)

    So my feedback is:

    besides grammar, the game is amazing! the story is solid and bit different.

    that's a heads-up! :)

    Establishing the difficulty option is good

    you should check your grammar. or I could help.

    just send me a notepad file with all dialogues and stuff and I will edit it

    and send it.

    you don't have to make the Granny ( I mean, Anges, the wife.) walk so far just make her turn

    at the end of the wall.

    the usage of tools is a great feature for broadening the horizons of the game. but

    it is not necessary to put so many of them in the mine, so make it to 2 events.

    so that's it!

    overall, your game is interesting!

    Edit: 0.3 was available a short time but it had bugs that I've found short after uploading it (luckily). I'll upload it later when these bugs are fixed. I was to lazy and uploaded it before I checked really everything. This won't happen again! I can't continue working on the game 02/10 and maybe 03/10 so it will take some time until V0.3 is available again.
