Post your Desktop!

Because pretty images and organization!  



I spent like all night looking for a desktop organizer I liked, because for some reason I have this inate desire to make things all organized for easy clicking.  Else I type like a maniac to get to all my links and downloads.  I like Fences.  It's pretty neat.  Not free, but neat.  

Also cockatiels because I have a pet cockatiel :>  He's a lutino though, so white and yellow with orange cheeks! 

Wow. What program is that, that allows you to organise the apps like that?

My desktop changed every 15 minutes. And this image I got right now. Most of the backgrounds are cute anime girls ~ ♥ :3

However, I'm not really look into my desktop so often since most of my workspace is either RPG Maker, College stuffs, Explorer, and Watching anime lol

It's called Fences.  Costed like 10 bucks.  There are free things that do the same things though, like add cool little docks and things, but I liked this one best.

I prefer put all into start menu so it won't messed up in desktop :3

I do put most shortcuts on desktop since my startup menu gets really cluttered fast (that's me just starting the day). Usually it would fill the entire thing and it gets hard to navigate.

...Half of my desktop is covered in shortcuts, so I think Archeia's still okay xD

Still, I should probably clean mine up, before posting here ^^;

Because I hate putting icons on my desktop, my desktop only consists of the background and the taskbar...

I've been trying to make my own custom desktop app sometime ago, haven't got to work on it for a few months already though...

Perhaps I should do a little desktop tidy-up... :/

Yeah, lately I throw anything and everything on my desktop so it's a mess right now. Probably at least 80% covered. Not at home so I can't post a pic now.

Yes I play Super Hexagon and yes it's great. "Sweet Boy Tears" isn't as rude as it sounds. It's actually quite a good song, but I clipped the audio up for my friend so he could listen to it. It actually belonged to a Cashmere Cat set he did for Pitchfork or something, so it's not just me that's a fan of the good old Cashy. ;) But most people won't know that my name is a tribute to some artist they don't know. Also I'm using Spotify to listen to MGMT because I haven't listened to them much lately and I had forgot how they sound but now I remember they sound magnificent. Excel is/was being used for Project RMW World contest results and the calculation of those results, but also I like making lists of films and stuff. This time I was making a list of Oscar Best Picture nominees in order of IMDb ratings and Metacritic ratings to try and suss out which ones I might wanna watch. Soon I'm gonna put some release dates on that baby so I can figure out in what order I'm going to watch what. But so far my main focus is to watch Birdman, which comes out in flipping January in my country. How inconvenient! Anyway, that was my desktop and I hope you like it. Try to spot the little Photoshop my friend did on the main desktop background graphic. It's pretty easy to spot.

Sooo my desktop... I usually don't keep much of anything on the desktop. That and I like the taskbar to be down annnd the high point Skies of Arcadia!!! Yess I love that old game on the dreamcast, I gotta play it again someday.

Nice desktop everyone!, here's mine, preferred nature wallpaper since it's easier on my eyes. I see lots of people have been using fence too, it's a godsend tool, especially for desktop shortcut hoarder like me haha.

I usually have mine set on a slide show, so it cycles between half a dozen pictures. Gives some variation this way. Most times it's sci-fi related, like various images of utopian or cyberpunk cities, or something like this:
