possible to make a sprite trigger a event when touch?

Hellow folks I just wounder if

this is possible to

have a event trigger (or switch)

when a ''sprite'' touch the event?

like exemple I use khas awesome light system

and I use a flashlight....but we all know the flash light is a sprite we use for make a effect of ''light''

so I wounder if exemple when the ''flashlight'' is activate

and exemple I point on a ''event'' with the flashlight

this will trigger a event or switch? because the sprite touch the event?
