Hallo all! All the English support and DLC that RM*Ace has been getting over the past 1-2 years has been pretty amazing (as someone who has been fiddling with RPGMaker since rm2k3... over ten years, wow). Having high-quality, looping ogg vorbis music is definitely my favorite part of the support Ace has gotten.
While we have lots of options for affordable tiles, characters and music now, something seems to have been lacking: battle animations. Right now, as far as I know, there's just the RTP set and the set made by Mr. Bubbles. The Samurai pack has a small handful of variations, too.
I'd love a $15-20 pack of animations as an alternative or expansion to the current RTP animations, especially if they came with a sample demo that included animations already set up in the editor. Maybe $25 if there were a variety of different attacks for swords, spears, bows, staves, guns, claws, whips, etc.
Just a suggestion!
Possible animation set in the future?

You can say that again, animations are some of the most difficult resources to find and make in the community.Hallo all! Timmah has a huge set of animations.

Timmah seems to have the animations protected and they're no longer available from memory. They weren't the last time i checkedTimmah has a huge set of animations.

I have a lot of great animation sets by Timmah from the Restaff and Member+, but the old ones are pretty good too.

While it would be really nice to have a battle animation pack in the store, it may be a bit difficult for the potential creator to decide if they would need to make animations that are more suitable for front-view or side-view battles, considering that there are a lot of sideview scripts, as well as those with animated battlers.
Even if they considered making animations for both battle views, it may result in a pack that cost more with only half of the animations suited for each type of view. -
To be honest, Timmah's animations were created using particleIllusion, so anyone can make them, it's just you'd have to buy the program first or find a way to make your own particle effects and turn them into animations (if you wanted to go that route).
