Okay, I've been out of the loop with plugins for bout a year, and they've grown a'many. I'm looking for a plugin that will add a skill when certain equipment is equipped, and remove the skill when unequiped. I have managed to do this through eventing, only problem is, the menu doesn't immediately update, so removing the equipment still shows the skill until one exits the menu and goes back into it. I know it's easy to get a equipment to teach a skill, really it was fairly easy to event a system where unequipping the said item would remove the skill, it's the menu update issue that is bugging me. I could just run with it, but I feel like it's a major flaw in the system if the skill doesn't immediately disappear from the menu when the item is unequipped.

You don't need a plugin for that. Just go to weapon/armor section in the database, click on traits, go to skill and add the skill you want the equipment to give when worn.

Will try that now. So, because it's a "trait" of the equipment, unequipping will remove the skill? Leave it to me to complicate things.
