Hello everyone,
I came here to look for answers for my problem.
I've been watching tutorials about the basics of creating a game, and it doesn't look complicated.
Now to my problem, when I start a new project and I create my world map (mountains , rivers, towns and kingdoms, plains and forests)
I place my character spawning point on land BUT when I start the playtest I somehow appear on a ocean (like my world map don't exist)
Its really annoying, I did open a sample map, have a spawn point on it and open playtest...then I still stand on the ocean, I can change direction of my character , but I can't move.
Can someone help me please :(
Sincerely,
HoneyKo

Welcome to the forums, HoneyKo!
Assuming that you chose "Yes" when asked to save changes before the playtest, and assuming that you've correctly placed the Player Starting Point (as opposed to a different starting point, like "Airship") on the map, what you're describing should not be occuring.
Could you please show us a screenshot of the starting map in the editor, and preferably also a screenshot of what you see when you choose 'New Game' in Playtest? -
Have you added or modified any scripts?
Are you certain it's your PLAYER starting position that you've set, and not one of the vehicle starting positions? They're all done from the same popup. -
Also, make sure you hit save before playtesting. Else it will use the old files instead of the new ones

Yeah that did the trick.
Thank you so much everyone.
I'm quite new to the program and i very like it, i'm making progression!
