Hello folks, I'm interested in a script that allows a switch to turn on when the player touches/presses a button against the back of an event and another switch will turn on if the event touches the player's back.
I tried doing this with events, but when you touch the back of an event it automatically faces you, thus negating the "Facing Away" idea. If I made the event fixed direction it could work, but the events will be moving randomly.
If there is anything about this request I can clarify, please let me know.

EDIT: Actually, this one changes a variable, but it works just the same. It will automatically either pre-empt or surprise the player at the start of battle. If you want to use your own pre-emptive system, delete lines 18-45. Player advantage = value of 1, Player side strike = value of 2. Conversely, event/foe advantage would result in the same numbers, only negative. -
