  1. Hello guys.. I was using RMVX ACE and I playtested it to see if it was fine and a message popped up

    What can I do to fix it ? Do I have to start all over again ?! ;_;

    Thaaaanks in advance :D
  2. Are you sure that was an Ace popup and not some spy-ware from a website?
  3. Yeah, the rest of that window (ie - the title bar) would have been useful.

    What virus scanner do you use?
  4. does it happen with new project too? if not...

    try replacing the Game.rvproj2 with one from new project.

    What virus scanner?
  9. Judging from the title bar of the error message, it's about the DLL-File.

    Something damaged or changed that file - either a virus (as the message suggested) or simply a failure during an access to it (for example, whenever windows crashes or the computer is switched off without shutdown, there is a chance of the file currenty being loaded to be damaged).

    If nothing else reports errors, you can try searching for that DLL (it's part of several downloadable sample games) and replace it on your computer.

    If replacing it doesn't help, or if it gets corrupted again shortly, then it's most probably a virus issue - the chance of a file being damaged by a crash is so low that it wouldn't create the same message by random...
  10. if it happen with new project. the crash issues might not be the problem here. since if it's only crash issue. usually only that particular project got corrupted (Data folder mostly).

    you can try uninstalling ACE and reinstall it. don't worry. your project is not deleted when you uninstall the program. as long you don't delete it.

    if the problem still persist. then it might really a virus. you might want to scan your computer and look out for the virus first.

    and i also think the dll file is the one got corrupted.
