    [Conditions For Use]

Everything that I post here is free for commercial and non-commercial use; all I ask in return is for my name to be included in some form of credits, along with my DeviantArt address.

To make it easy; example: "Made by Palsa: http://metalraptor.deviantart.com/".

Also, I would appreciate seeing a screenshot of it being used in your work; though it's not completely necessary, I'd just like to see how it looks. ^_^

I generally do more 3D modeling then sprites and tiles, but here are some that I've made.

    [Character/Event and Object Graphics]

    Ancient Teleporter:

This is an orthographic version of a model that I made, though revised so that it can be used as 2D graphics.

Here are a few forest tiles that I drew awhile back:

Some pyramid tiles that I made:

Intersection stoplights + fire hydrant and postbox:

    [RTP Edits]

Here is an RTP edit that I made from one of the VX Ace wall graphics:

    RTP_WALL_EDIT.png

    Semi-3D Stacked Boxes:

    RTP_EDIT_STACKED_BOXES.png

    Window and glass tiles:

Much is edited from VX graphics; the later two can be used during thunderstorms, if the eventing is done correctly.

(Credit for the RTP edits goes to Enterbrain.)
    [Windows]
    Spoiler
Here are several windows that I made for use in VX:
    Window3.pngWindow.pngWindow5.pngWindow4.pngWindow2.pngWindow-Name.png
The second to last is for a floating window that pops up over the character's head, and the last is for a name box; both require a script.
     [Graphics for Animations]

Just recently I've started using FL Studio; though I'm still learning how to use it, so all I've managed to make so far is an ambiant noise:
    Creepy Clock.

That's all for now, if I make anything more, I'll be sure to post it; I hope they can be of some use. ^_^[/audio]

    Thank you. :D

I'm also working on a model for a futuristic teleporter, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it into a 2D tile at this point, so I'll have to see how it goes.
  4. Ooh, I see lots of thieving opportunities here. The teleporter looks hella cool!

Heheh; feel free to steal what you like, I don't mind. :D

If anything, I'd love to see how you make use of them in your projects. ^_^
  6. Couldn't see how to download creepy-clock.  All I got was a link to some sort of installer.  Is that the way it works on that site?

I'm not sure why it would do that, I tested the link while logged off with no difficulty; but 4Shared can be a bit weird from time to time.

    This this link: http://www.4shared.com/music/6Lj6Hlqe/Creepy-Clock.html

    [Edit]

I think that you might have clicked on the priority download link instead of the default download.

    [Edit]

I just made some pyramid tiles; hope you like them. ^_^

  8. Here is an update to the pyramid tiles, along with a quick demonstration:

    Spoiler

I added a bit of perspective to them; note, that they are still far from perfect, and I may apply future updates to them.
  9. The updates, both in the first post and in this one, only open as 'Notepad' files with just text codes, not as images.

ImageBam has been kind of weird lately; I tried another image host:

Are there any problems with these?
  11. These work fine.  Thanks for fixing, and for some very nice tiles.

    No problem, and thanks. :D

On a side note: I'm not sure why it's saving them as a txt instead of a png, but the files are still png regardless of the saving method; so if anything like this happens again, trying switching the save type to 'all files', and make sure that it has '.png' at the end; it should save with no problems.

These are very nice looking. It makes a big difference when screenshots are provided for more involved tilesets like these so people can see what the implementation looks like.

    /me adds to a list somewhere =]

btw, your topic title says "Palsa's Resources" but your community name is Metal Raptor.

I am assuming that you want your stuff to be credits as by Palsa?
  14. I really like the pyramid stuff, which gave me an idea for a dungeon. Thanks :)

    Thank you! ^_^

And yes, please use Palsa as the name in the credits, that's what I generally go by online.
  16. Sorry if I haven't made much of anything lately, my external hard drive died last month, and along with it all my work (with exception to the things that I uploaded in the past), so I haven't had much of a stomach to work on anything lately. :|

Anyway, on the brighter news. :D

As Steam held a sale on RPG Maker VX Ace a few days ago, I decided to buy it, along with the Modern Day and Samurai resource packs, so I am in total bliss at the moment with ideas rushing through my mind. :guffaw:

But. . .  I had a couple problems with the Modern Day tiles, AS AWESOME AS THEY ARE, the stop lights and walk lights are on a poll, and would be pretty difficult to see if a driver were to pass by; plus, you would have to place them where people walk, and they only face one direction, where at a four way intersection they would have to face in four directions.

So, I decided to try making my own from scratch:

    Spoiler
Stop_Lights.png(Character sets, save with'!$'>>>)Stop_Lights1.pngStop_Lights2.pngStop_Lights3.png(<<<The water is for the fire hydrant.)Example:

    Stop_Light_Example.jpg

(the other tiles are from the Modern Day set, I distorted them for that reason.)

    Pass-ability:

    Stop_Lights_Pass.png
Notes: The two tiles with yellow highlights should be set to overlay, and have an invisible event tile on the map to prevent people from walking through them.

These tiles are 100% original, I did not use any of the Modern Day set to make these, but I did make them to go along with it, so you'll want to place this in tile E.

Feel free to use these in your project, commercial or otherwise, all I ask is to give credit to: 'Palsa' somewhere in your game, and send me a screenshot so that I can see it in use.

    Hope you like it! :D
  17. I made an orthographic modification to my Japanese bridge model, you can download it from my DeviantArt post.

    Spoiler
    Japanese_Bridge_Sample.png
    Download from here: http://metalraptor.deviantart.com/art/Japanese-Style-Bridge-RPG-Maker-Tile-set-392317758

You can also download the original 3D model that I made here: http://metalraptor.deviantart.com/art/Japanese-Style-Bridge-280446275

If your wanting to have visual novel scenes, where the game switches from a tiled background to a solid picture, then you can accomplish this by loading the model into a program like Google SketchUp.
  18. MetalR - I LOVE these! What a great element of beauty and realism they add to a garden!

    Super work! Thanks!

  20. Very Interesting stuff you've put up here, and great job on creating them from scratch. I have a feeling a lot of people will be wanting to use your tilesets, I for one would love to use that pyramid sometime XD

Oh, and I see you've started using FL Studio. It's nice to see a fellow fruity looper on here lol.
