Other RM resources for RM MV?

Albeit, this may be a stupid question, but thought I'd ask anyway.. I own most--if not all--of the RPG Makers, and many of their tilesets. Is it illegal to use the tilesets in RMXP or RMVX, for example, in RMMV, especially if you intend to commercialise your game? I'm thinking from a parallax mapping perspective--using tilesets from other makers for an RMMV parallax map. Thanks! I trust this is the right forum since it's a commercial question.

You can use the assets from any RM engine you legally own in any other RM engine you legally own.

I think if you own the property, then it's fine to use stuff. Like I'm using some of Ace's old monsters in MV.
