  1. Hi,

I'm Miffy6000 and am a new member on these forums. I have Autism and don't go out often and spend a lot of my time game making and sometimes drawing. I'll be drawing RPG graphics soon but was curious about one of my drawings, I've attached it to this thread.

Please give me your honest opinions, Thanks! :)

What do you think of the picture, that's all I want to know?

(This picture was drawn by me using Paint.Net and is all my own work)

  2. Well, it's definitely good for a start. Keep it up and practice will only make you better!

Also, when it comes to graphics, do whatever but just be consistent. Also keep in mind that if your game has wonderful graphics but is made badly... it's still a bad game. By the same token there are games that use NO custom graphics (RTP, the gfx that come with Ace) that have gone far, like Cope Island.  It's well made.

Anyway, best of luck to you!
  3. Hi,

Thanks that means a lot to me. I am always quite negative about my drawings, I always worry that they aren't quite good enough. I guess I'm quite self-critical, anyway thanks again!!!

    :)

I agee with Iron Croc.  Game design is up to you completely.  If you want to use your own art then use all your own art.  Mixing your art with someone else's may not look great.  Nice thing about using all your own art is your game would be unique.  No one else would have a game that looks like yours :)
  5. Yeah I guess your both right. Well if I become good enough at drawing then I will make my own game with my own graphics! However until then I will have to continue using the graphics I brought a few months/year ago.

    :)
