Odd Colored Tiles

I have been scouring the internet looking for a Field and/or outdoor tileset that might look like Mars or some other planet. I tried to do a recolor of the RTP tiles that were NOT grass, but it came out super bad. So, I come before you, humbled, asking if anyone can either create a reddish/orange Mars like dirt tile, even a recolor, I would be immensely grateful. Even if you know of one, I would be more than pleased! Thanks in advance!

I have no idea if this is even remotely what you were thinking but here is a quick recolor of the RTP sand/dirt tiles. When I think of Mars, I don't think of grass, but red dirt. Not sure if this is the shade of red you had in mind either.

Avery has some moon-style tiles.

Here you go. These resources are free to use as you see fit. Be sure to credit me and enterbrain if you use them. If you use the dirt texture alone, the license on that is not attached with the RTP.

Heck yeah! I was trying to Colorize sections of the tile sheet in Gimp, and they just don't look good. The orange ones looked like halloween themed sugar cookies!

I know I might be getting greedy, but could some one mock up between 1-3 craters of varying sizes. No bigger than 32x32, but smaller would be better for reconfiguring in different clusters. If not, thanks all the same. These help a lot.

And Grandma Deb, maybe I skimmed over it, but I hadn't seen avery tiles in your list.

Check out under Tiles spoiler -= they are not the right color but they have craters and fun otherworldly stuff.

Are you referring to the tiles I provided? If so I can do that.

Yes, and yes please. Got some battles on distant Mars, and Deimos or Phobos, and needing to set the scene. Thank you both VERY much!

Thanks for those tiles. I am incorporating the moon tiles w/ craters and the Mars dirt ones. I even managed to recolor some tiles to a hue that isn't as silly as the one above. I just have 1 question for you: What did you use to render the dirt texture? I would love to learn something like that.
