  1. Trailer Drop & Numina Part 2 Announcement

    Hello everyone,

Exciting news: Friday next week the trailer for Numina will drop! Along with a small teaser a few days before that. So set your alarms to Friday, April 8th! You'll find it on Numina's YouTube channel!

Another big announcement: Numina will get an additional Part 2 release! During the betatests I felt like I had to cut down a bit too much on the content around the last chapter of the game. So I decided to take some more time and delve deeper into the parts that were initially scrapped to release the game earlier.

The trailer next week will showcase Part 1 of Numina and also reveal the release date for it! Which will be pretty soon, promise Part 1 includes Chapter 1 + 2 with a playtime around 18 hours. I can't wait to release something new from Numina to all of you!

Part 2 will release later this year as paid DLC. This gives me some room now to work on it and deliver a satisfying finale to this project that means so much to me.

Thank you everyone and see you soon for the trailer reveal for Part 1!!
  2. Trailer & Release Date + FREE DEMO LAUNCH!

    Hello everyone,

this might be my biggest news update so far, so buckle up: The main trailer for Numina has just been released!!!
    [embedded media]

Also Part 1 of Numina will release on JULY 1st here on itch.io and Steam for Windows, Linux and MacOS!! Everything shown in the trailer will be part of that release.

But (!) there's one more thing: You can NOW PLAY A FREE DEMO! Which contains the first hour of the first chapter showcasing all the improvements and changes since the 2017 changes and hopefully giving everyone who's new to Numina a good impression of the game.

It's obviously shorter than the 2017 demo, mainly because this demo is meant to showcase the game, rather than just being a full-blown chapter release of the main game. Even if you played the 2017 version, I invite you to try out the new demo since there have been plenty of changes since that release!

Everyone, I'm beyond excited about this huge milestone and even more thrilled to hear your feedback on the demo (and Part 1 once it releases in July!!!). I am very grateful for all of you and I sincerely hope that you'll enjoy, what I've been working on these past years! ❤️ u all!
  3. I played the demo, maybe small issues on oversight.
I love the battle part and the cutscenes are nicely done.
specially the choices of the "voice" part, didn't check all choices
    for their answer.

here are some small issues I found (you can leave it how it is though).
    Small issues
    1) when setting a difficulty, easy, normal, hard, and when on "easy" and press left,
the difficulty is blank, press right loop through correctly.

    2) in the small cutscene, this light go from right to left, but the last tile, its underneath.

    3) this light should be below the tilesets personally if possible, looks weird
    if it's above.

    4) another small issue as the image above (3) is that the actor walk through
the gate as the door is in the center.

I would replay it later for the other choices, the temple of clouds of the sublevel
was nicely done and specially the animation to open the door and closed later on.

keep up the nice work :)
  4. @ShadowDragon thank you so much for checking it out and reporting the issues! I'll definitely address them :)
  5. I was trying to play the online version on indiexpo, but I had an error. I left a comment there reporting the bug.
  6. Thanks for clearing that up! Should be all fixed now
  7. @Lunesis Thank you so much for sharing this! I understand your point on the battles. Creating that demo slice is a tough balancing act. My main focus with this was definitely the story with a puzzle and a bit of combat to offer a glimpse into the game (+ allowing people who'll go for the full version to pick up right where they left off).

All good of course. I'm glad I got to play a couple battles at least, the rest looks great!
