Not a single fog script is working...

I'm really desperate right now.

I've tried victor's fogs and overlay script, the XP Fog script and Shaz's multi layer fog script.

None of them is displaying the fog. I've created a new project without any scripts and it's simply not

appearing. When i change the target name an error appears so they are working in this field.

But the effect is simply not appearing.

Could you give some screenshots to show how you are setting up these scripts?  Also you say that you get an error, so could you show us that as well.

Any links to the scripts you have tried would be handy so we don't have to go searching for them.

Yep - you need to give us more information to go on. They work in everybody else's projects, so there's got to be something that you're not doing correctly.


Choose ONE of those scripts and put it into your game.


If you have to change anything in the script (switches, variables, etc), show us a screenshot of your script editor that shows how you've changed it.


Make sure you set up the switches/variables properly, if they are used.


Make sure they are turned on (F9 = Debug can tell you this) if they are used.


Show us the script call or map notes or whatever it is that you do to trigger it to show.


Show us a screenshot of your folder where the font images are installed - preferably in Detail view with extensions visible.


THEN we'll be able to give you some help :)
