Some retro alimentation:
The history at the beginning needs to be into the game, maybe a cutscene, or some pictures, I guess the player will imagine is own history like the student is an interchange one and go to a foreign country and is alone in all aspects he gets lost after get out of the school and do something to end up to that abandoned mansion.
The black holes are confusing, I think there is not logical explanation for that in a mansion unless it was just a not illuminated area of the room but then you can’t pass in some areas, maybe if there like structural damages instead of perfect organized architecture holes for decoration it could become more credible.
After you enter on the road that lead to the medical room there is another room, a lighted one and when you get out of the room the music does not change... is the same all time since then until you change to the one of the main rooms, the fear feeling just disappear entirely if there was any measurable mention on the player.
The music is too high some times.
In the road to the medical room at the second floor, at start you can see the event (the shadow guy) appearing and disappearing after the cutscene ends, the whole cutscene does not repeat and repeat but it just get the first one when it show up as a dark shadow, you can be there for hours seeing that thing appearing and disappearing that detail could make the complete experience gone.
Could be better more clearing objectives after music key.
On the right room on the 1 floor there is a jar that leaves a withe line on the floor, that are a minimal issue but the most of the cases the thing is just adjust the pixel dimensions of the picture.
I must tell of the good things that the game has, there is a lot of atmosphere there, the night stuff and the sound is cool, the surprising events that you programed are not too predictive at all times, as the history moves on I feel kind of like exploring since the beginning and the limitations that you put make the game flows go well, maybe a linear but is all right, in my games I always try to give options to the player so he can have alternative paths that is why I am no to in the linear games, but the thing was pretty cool to see. There are not believe reactions because since the beginning you can assume the whole concept of the ghosts and the character still wonder what it could be, and also the idea of the mirror is freaking good but for me it does not feel interesting remember a Disney history and keeps you away at certain point.
The game could have a nice stuff since you are alone but the character must be more realistic in his thoughts, just imagine that a strange come into your house and go to sleep to the rest room, there is not a conversation that you would have with that intruder since the beginning, the character must realize a lot of things with that matters, is like he is taking the mansion for himself since the beginning.
