I have an image that's 160x128 pixels.
I want to divide this image into 32x32 cells, and bevel the edge of each cell.
Is there a smart way to do that in photoshop without having to manually break the image up into individual cells?
Need some photoshop help

Grab your rectangle selection tool and select one 32x32 block
Create new layer
Fill the 32x32 selection with the paint bucket tool, any color, doesn't matter
Now double click your layer icon in the layers panel to open up the layer styles menu
Do your bevel thing
Then on that same layer in the layers panel, right click where it says "effects" and you'll have a couple of options in a popup.
Click on "create layers"
Then now you should have 2 new clipping layers above your main layer, that is the bevel effects. One is the darker and on is the lighter part.
Anyway with these two layers, unlink them from the main 32x32 layer that it was attached to by holding down alt, hover inbetween the main layer and the one above it, then click.
Now that they're unattached the bevel effect will go beyond 32x32, so just delete everything outside of the 32x32 box.
Then just copy and paste the two layers over and over again across your whole image
If you have any questions let me know, tried explaining best I could. -
