Need information on setting up animations

  1. Are there any more or less official tutorials on setting up animations? I'm having issues because I purchased the three animation collections from the rpg maker store and they came with a demo so setting them up was easy but... they aren't compatible with the base game animation assets because they run in 30-60 FPS so I found some 20 FPS animations on Hadecynns site (here) but they are just sheets that need to be set up, which I have no idea how to do. I tried contacting Hadecynn on his site and on this forum but haven't received a response yet. Was hoping maybe he had a similar demo for his animation archive sets.

Edit: Well, I thought I had it but even when I follow the guides I found to the letter I can't seem to make the animation visible in the editor. They work fine if I copy another similar animation then just change the graphic. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
  2. For new animation cells the default blend mode is additive, but most animations require a normal blend mode.
Change that and check the result again
  3. I had no issue if I used normal blend. Try that. Also the FPS I found doesn't matter, I used 20 FPS on those 30 FPs animations and they seemed to work just fine, just a little slower.
  4. It seems the normal blend is working, thanks. And I am trying to get some of Hadecynn's 20 FPS animations set up to work with the 30 FPS premium animations from the shop. Hopefully I can eliminate the 15 FPS default animations completely.

Edit: I think I just discovered how to make the default 15 FPS animations work with the 30-60 FPS premium stuff, by simply doubling or quadrupling each frame in the animation editor menu... it seems so simple, could it be true? >.<
