Hey everyone,
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, so please forgive my newb-ness if I got it wrong. I'm trying to make a practice game to get familiar with RPG MV, but it requires that I edit some of the tilesets that came with the program (bookcases, couches, and other interior items, no autotiles). However, once I do so they seem to shrink in size (comparing it to the non-edited versions it's roughly 1/2 the size). I made sure that they are broken into connecting 48x48 squares (used photoshops' grid system to divide it), I made sure that when adding them to the database its' mode is "Area", and that the file is in the same img folder as the other tilesets. In PS when I compare my edited canvas to the non-edited it seems that everything is correct, but then it goes weird when I put it into RPG MV. I've tried looking around but couldn't find anything that seemed to talk about my problem, and I've tried experimenting with canvas sizes and settings but it just seems to break the tileset (resulting in nothing appearing when I go to place the items on the map).
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give!

By 'canvas' do you mean your tile sheet? -
What are the sizes of your tilesheets in pixels, and which of the six different tilesheet formats are you working on?
I can think of two or three different things that might have caused this - including the possibility that this isn't an error at all if you're working with autotiles instead of regular tiles. -

Okay, thanks for making the move. Yeah, when I refer to canvas I mean like a canvas in PS, or the entire tile sheet.

The tile sheet size, in pixels, is 384 wide and 768 high; and I'm working on tilesheet D format. And I think I may have seen a mistake I made while double checking the tilesheet size, I just realized that it should be 768x768. I'm going to change that and see if it works. -

Yeah, somehow I missed that when I was double checking everything. I changed it to 768x768 and it appears as the correct size now. Thanks, Andar, for the help! -
@OZ_gamer as I said there are six different tilesheets. 384*768 would have been the correct size for an A5 sheet...
