So I got CS6 and am trying to do parallax maping. But I can't seem to get the images from one to move to the other.
Can someone tell me how to do that??
Like I select the picture I want with the square marquee tool and try to drag but nothing happens. I can only do it with copy paste and then I can't move it around once on the map.
I use CS5. The copying and pasting from one image to another is the only way to get your map components onto your map, but I'm assuming after you select something, you didn't switch to the Move Tool to drag it. It should be above the selection tool.
They use CS5, and CS6 is essentially a better version of CS5. If you moved an item and wanted to edit it, just select a different tool or layer to get out of the Move Tool.
Sai I don't understand what you mean, if you're referring to the erase thing then it's like when I first move the art tile I can move it around the map erase it and so on but after I move another one on the map the previous one can be interacted with anymore.
Yeah it look like an old version I've been looking at images trying to compare but can't seem to find one that matches.
Never mind I had to just choose the different layer. Does anyone know of a tutorial on how to do the overlay using cs6? Or does anyone know of any tutorial that also know which CS is being used so that I may apply what is being shown in the tutorial to the software I am using.
Anyway, for the second time, it's CS5. I have that version, so I can vouch for it personally. The tools should be no more different than from CS6, honestly.
